Teach Your Child Be Humble

Humble person will receive praise without a big head. Humility makes a person respected by many people. Since childhood, children need to be taught to have this admirable trait. How best to teach the noble character of this to your children?

Praising children properly

Compliments will pep up the child. When you see a child doing something good, use this opportunity to commend them. For example, when playing they help their friends who fell or were sympathetic to his friend who was crying and tried to comfort her, give them praise.

Briefing

If we want to have a good son and virtuous, we must direct them. This briefing may be encouragement and instil in them. For example, we are busy working, invite the children to help and do not underestimate their assistance. For example, we asked the children to return the toy to the toy box. Maybe they do not do it as fast as we are, but still give praise and thanks when they are finished. Give them age-appropriate tasks.

Example

Of course the most powerful way to educate children is by example. If we get angry at the housekeeper for a small mistake, we give a bad example. Do not allow children to see it, because they would have mencontohnya. Instead, show humility by means respect anyone, including people who work for their parents.

Warning

Give sense to the children if they show a lack of worth. For example, they shout sepermainannya friends, call them immediately and ask to speak. Do not scold them in front of the crowd. After giving them a sense, they should apologize to those who have harmed. When we hear them boast of an achievement, notify that everyone has their own advantages. They should be grateful to have achievements to be proud of but teaching them to not flaunt it. Give the sense that an excess is not to suppress or make other people get discouraged, but to make other people come to enjoy the advantages of it.
